Now, Excavator roams a fractured world—and a fractured existence. Its story stretches across shifting timelines:
Born in the age of kings, when kingdoms carved machines from stone and steam.
Drifting through our broken now, scarred by collapse, pollution, and silence.
The landscape is haunted by the ruins of a future war. Steel cities lie in ash. Skyborne hunters track its every move.
Day by day, mission by mission, it asks itself: Why does it still live? What keeps it moving ahead?
It is fueled by the burn of a rare and volatile biofuel it calls Engine Juice. This is its only true need. It survives by trading silence for parts. Emotion is exchanged for efficiency. It trades violence for the fuel and mechanics that keeps its systems from shutting down. It works for tyrants, profiteers, and warlords. But it pledges loyalty to no one.
Each secret engagement leads to the next cruel necessity—unavoidable, unpleasant, and harsh—layered like rust over its evolving mind.
Some say it was born to dig trenches, not graves.
But war changed that.
Most Rangers avoid it.
Not because it always kills—
But because no one, not even Excavator, knows what it will do
