Caribanime follows a group of Caribbean kids whose sense of adventure leads them somewhere unexpected. During a school outing, they wander off course and uncover something ancient — an object they don’t understand, but can’t resist exploring.
One moment of impulse.
One gateway opened.
Suddenly, they are pulled into another realm.
The World of Jumbara
The kids awaken in Jumbara — a living realm shaped by story, memory, and spirit energy. Here, folklore breathes, landscapes listen, and unseen forces move just beyond sight. Forests whisper and oceans shimmer with hidden presence.
This is not a place of simple good or evil — but of balance, trickery, wisdom, and consequence.
Jumbaraville — Where Stories Meet
At the heart of this realm lies Jumbaraville, a vibrant crossroads where spirits gather, music drifts through glowing streets, and old stories mingle with new ones. It is here that the kids encounter Anansi — the clever trickster — who reveals that they have stepped into a world shaped by memory and myth.
But even in a town filled with laughter and light, not everything is as friendly as it seems.
Adventure Has Consequences
To return home, the kids must journey through Jumbara’s regions — jungles watched by ancient guardians, coastlines where the veil between worlds thins, and lands alive with growth and power. Along the way, they learn that curiosity without care can change more than their own lives.
Opening a gateway is easy.
Closing one is not.
When something comes in, something always goes out.
