Introducing Henna & Nura

Every Pattern Holds a Story
Artist Blueprint is introducing Henna & Nura, a Persian-inspired story universe created for younger children and family audiences.
At its heart are two inseparable friends: Henna, a curious young girl whose glowing patterns carry a mysterious magic, and Nura, a playful baby griffin with an emerald medallion and an instinct for finding adventure.
Together, they follow hidden patterns into stories filled with music, discovery, kindness and wonder.

A Younger Doorway Into a Larger World
Henna & Nura is connected to the wider Mehndi Henna Universe, which follows older characters through more complex stories about friendship, identity, growing up and magical responsibility.
This younger companion universe has its own tone and purpose.
Henna and Nura’s adventures are gentler, more musical and designed around the way young children explore the world—through questions, movement, imagination, repetition and play.
It is not simply a younger version of the same series. It is a distinct world of short adventures, songs and learning experiences connected by the same underlying mythology.

Meet Henna
Henna is imaginative, compassionate and endlessly curious. She notices patterns that others overlook: a shape hidden in a flower, a glowing line across an old stone or a trail of droplets leading somewhere unexpected.
Across her hands and arms flow magical designs known as Living Patterns.
These patterns respond to music, nature, emotion and story. They can become maps, pathways, pictures and helpful objects. A pattern might form a glowing umbrella during a rain shower, transform into a watering can for a thirsty garden or reveal the story hidden inside an ancient tile.
Henna’s magic is strongest when she uses it with kindness, patience and creativity.

Meet Nura
Nura is Henna’s baby griffin companion—a small mythical guardian with golden fur, feathered wings, emerald eyes and a magical medallion.
Nura loves to fly, pounce, chase droplets and investigate anything that sparkles. That curiosity sometimes creates a little extra confusion, but it also helps Henna discover clues she might otherwise miss.
When danger or uncertainty appears, the emerald inside Nura’s medallion begins to glow. Its magic can reveal hidden paths, protect Henna and respond to the Living Patterns flowing from her hands.
Nura is not simply a pet or sidekick. The little griffin is Henna’s closest friend, guardian and partner in every adventure.

Living Pattern Magic
Henna’s power is called Living Pattern Magic.
The patterns are inspired by the flowing shapes of henna art, but their meaning reaches beyond decoration. Every line can hold a memory, a clue, a song or the beginning of a new story.
Sometimes Henna creates the patterns. At other times, they appear on their own—as though the world is asking her to follow.
That idea sits at the centre of the universe:
Every pattern holds a story.

Adventures, Songs and Learning
Each Henna and Nura adventure can begin with something small: a raindrop, a seed, a musical note, a footprint or a mysterious symbol.
Following it may lead them through an enchanted garden, along a mountain pathway, across a shimmering sea or toward a hidden spring waiting to be rediscovered.
Songs are part of the storytelling rather than separate performances. Rhythm helps the magic move, repeated words help children participate and simple dances allow young viewers to join the adventure.
Stories can introduce subjects such as:
- Persian words and their meanings
- Water, plants, animals and the natural world
- Music, rhythm and movement
- Patterns, colours and creative expression
- Kindness, patience and gratitude
- Observation and problem-solving
- Persian-inspired mythology, landscapes and design
Learning happens through the adventure, with Henna and Nura discovering each lesson alongside the audience.

A Persian-Inspired Fantasy World
The world of Henna & Nura draws from a broad Persian-inspired visual imagination.
Carved water channels flow through enchanted gardens. Pomegranate trees grow beside turquoise pools. Cypress shadows stretch across ancient pathways. Mountain terraces, desert landscapes and distant seas open into places filled with hidden stories.
Emerald, turquoise, sage green and antique gold define the visual palette, while music, textiles, architecture, plants and mythical guardian imagery help shape the identity of the world.
These elements are not simply decoration. They influence the stories, the magic and the way Henna and Nura experience each adventure.

Āb, Āb, Water, Water
The first musical adventure from the universe is Āb, Āb, Water, Water, a children’s song celebrating the movement and importance of water.
The song introduces several Persian words:
- Āb — water
- Bārān — rain
- Daryā — sea
- Cheshmeh — spring
- Qatreh — drop
A single droplet falls onto a carved stone, finds other droplets and becomes a playful stream. Henna follows it through the garden while Nura flies, splashes and pounces beside her.
As gentle rain begins to fall, Henna’s Living Patterns form a magical umbrella. Later, the pattern becomes a glowing watering can, helping flowers, shrubs and pomegranate blossoms grow across the garden.
The video offers the first glimpse of a larger universe where songs open pathways into stories and every discovery can become an adventure.

Connected, but Distinct
Henna & Nura and Mehndi Henna share a magical foundation, but they are designed for different audiences.
Henna & Nura introduces younger viewers to this mythology through songs, gentle adventures and playful learning. Mehndi Henna can continue exploring older characters, deeper relationships and greater magical responsibilities.
Together, they allow the story world to grow with its audience.
