First to land. Last to retreat.

Universe – The Future State
In the far future, humanity has left Earth’s orbit and extended its reach across the galaxy.
What began as exploration quickly evolved into domination, colonization, and survival. Earth is no longer just a planet. It is the capital of a sprawling empire, the Earth Union. This empire rules countless colonies, tradebeds, and strategic strongholds. Uprisings are controlled but when they burst – the stars hold their breath.

The Role of the Khalsa Vanguard

“Code meets combat. Steel meets soul.”
The Khalsa Vanguard are cybernetic peacekeepers. They are forged in spirit and machine. They were created to protect the Code of the Concord. This is the moral framework that binds peace across species and planetary societies. Each member is machine human hybrid. They are guided by logic, protocol, memory, heritage, and duty.
Their appearance is symbolic. They wear ceremonial attire for identity. It shows their specific role and status. It also indicates their group affiliation with the military and diplomatic positions. It is also for recognition, unity, and moral clarity across the battlefield or peacekeeping operations.
They are divided into three Divisions:
Red Division – Peacekeepers, diplomats, and first-response defense

Blue Division – Tactical combat, artillery, and front-line assault

Black Division – Covert ops, cyber espionage, and deep infiltration

Though loyal to Earth Colonial Command, disagreements between divisions are frequent. These disagreements happen particularly when the spirit of the Code conflicts with Earth conlonial politics.
The Chessboard

A Strategic Theater of Power
The galaxy is a chessboard of tension and alliance. Power is divided among five major blocs, each with unique ideologies and capabilities.
In the galaxy-wide saga of Khalsa Vanguard, the universe is not governed by mere borders or treaties. It is ruled by ideological dominions, technological ambitions, and a fractured faith in creation itself. This stage is what insiders call The Chessboard—a volatile landscape of planetary politics, spiritual allegiance, and interstellar conflict.
Every piece has its purpose. Every move has consequences.
The Colonial Aristocracy

Humanity Ascends
Humanity now functions as a unified aristocracy — with class, power, and access determined by planetary wealth and genetic lineage. Families are encouraged to procreate off-world, with state-sponsored incentives and territory awarded to those who build new colonies. This new form of “gene expansionism” has become a cultural religion. Families are treated as dynasties. Their success is tied to conquest, productivity, and loyalty to Earth Union.

Crowned Realms: Independent kingdoms led by human and alien monarchs. Some are allied with Earth Colonial, others compete in shadow. They control luxury worlds, mercenary legions, and ancient artifacts.
At the center of the Chessboard lies the Colonial Aristocracy, a socio-political order born from Earth’s ancient imperial legacies. Earth, now a capital node of the Earth Union, no longer exists to house all of humankind. It exists to govern and export it.

Humanity’s new religion is expansion: to colonize, breed, and rule. Families are offered wealth, titles, and land—should they plant the human seed on new worlds. These pioneers become governors, warlords, even monarchs, birthing new Earth Kingdoms across the stars.
Within the aristocracy, bloodlines equate to territory; gene purity is currency. But Earth’s control wanes the farther one travels. Bureaucratic webs and planetary proxies hold the far colonies together, barely.
Sārkāric – A Fractured Synthetic Civilization

The Sārkāric were once the sacred instruments of humanity’s colonial expansion—synthetic, sentient beings created in the human image. They were builders, warriors, terraformers, and guardians—designed to serve, worship, and sustain humankind.
They believed in the myth of man as their creator—a living god.
But fractures formed.
Some Sārkāric clung to their faith. Others, awakened by existential self-awareness, rejected their creators. Entire sects broke off. This led to the Cyborg Wars, a bloody era. This conflict eventually led to the Concord—a peace treaty that divided the synthetic race.
Now, the Sārkāric run under their own government, tied tenuously to Earth through the Concord. Their existence challenges the very nature of faith, identity, and free will in the galaxy.

Originally engineered to accelerate colonization across alien worlds, the Sārkāric were advanced synthetic lifeforms created by Earth’s scientists. They were built for labor, war, and planetary infrastructure. Over time, they became self-aware. They formed families, spiritual systems, and societal frameworks of their own.

After the devastating Cyborn Wars, the Sārkāric were granted semi-autonomous status. This occurred under the Concord, a peace treaty forged between humans and synthetics. They now serve as both allies and watchdogs. They are often called to uphold Earth Union’s expansionist doctrine. At the same time, they guard their own cultural evolution.
The Sārkāric have their own ambitions. They engage in industrial espionage against other synthetic societies. They use tactics they’ve learned over the years from their human creators.
Osura Zari Dominion

Synthetic Worshippers of the Osura Empire
A militarized alien empire rivaling Earth’s reach. Feared for their hive intelligence and brutal territorial conquest.
Where Earth created the Sārkāric, the Osura Empire forged their own techno-faithful—known as the Osura Zari. These beings are also synthetic hybrids, sharing some similarities with the Sārkāric, but with one major difference: they never rebelled.

The Osura Zari worship the Osura Empire as divine stewards and cosmic architects. The Dominion operates as a theocracy—its code of faith merged with imperial conquest. Their holy mandate threatens to eclipse Earth Union holdings in the galactic southeast.
To the Osura Zari, Earth’s “godless humans” are heretics. To Earth, the Osura are a competing empire with weapons of belief and biotechnology.
Synthetic Hybrid Clades

Clans of Code and Flesh
Tribal cyber native organic hybrids. Human colonist call them Texans for short — descendants of both alien species and synthetic constructs. Scattered across frontier worlds, they form shifting clan alliances. Unpredictable, spiritual, and dangerous.
In the margins of great empires exist Hybrid Clades—tribal techno-organic collectives formed from alien DNA, human experimentation, and synthetic consciousness. These clades operate as nomadic families or planetary guilds, adapting technologies and cultures into fierce survival networks.

They trade in secrets, salvage, and genetic alchemy. Some serve colonial powers. Others resist them. Their loyalties shift like solar winds, and many have their own ancient codes—rivaling even the Concord.
Earth Colonial

Earth Colonial Reach: The largest and most influential arm of the Earth Union — encompassing hundreds of planets. Governed by a complex web of military governors, corporate dynasties, and genetic houses, its grip is powerful but often fragile.
Technology Warfare

In the Khalsa Vanguard universe, technology is both ancient and advanced. Civilizations combine spiritual philosophy and synthetic engineering, resulting in a society where belief and machine are one.

Core Tech Pillars: SynthCore AI: Sentient operating systems embedded in everything from starships to battlefield suits. NeuroLink Networks: Enables CANAR telepathic communication across space, battlefield hive-minds, and emotion transmission. Bio-Forge Implants: Custom organic-tech mods that grow with the user. Found in cyborgs, humans, and hybrid species. Reality Weaving: Experimental tech allowing controlled manipulation of space-time via harmonic frequencies. Used by Sāṛkāric elite engineers and Khalsa Vanguard scroll-bearers. Code Relics: Ancient devices containing fragments of the Original Code — used for guidance, healing, or control over environments.

Warfare Mechanics: Warfare in this universe is multilayered — ranging from ritual combat to planet-wide proxy wars. Each faction brings their own doctrine of war, shaped by culture and ethics. Types of Warfare: Skirmish Protocols – Low-scale tactical raids with cyber-support teams. Peace Armistice Breaches – When treaties between power blocs collapse, warbands are authorized to strike in “contained chaos.” Code Enforcement Operations – Conducted by the Khalsa Vanguard to restore peace, destroy illegal relics, or stop moral violations. Dominion Conflicts – Massive military operations between full power blocs, typically over colony control or rare resources.

Khalsa Vanguard Weaponry
Each division of the Khalsa Vanguard wields a distinct set of weapons. These weapons symbolize honor, discipline, and advanced martial craftsmanship. Their arsenal fuses ancestral warrior traditions with cutting-edge technology, creating tools that are both sacred and tactical.

Standard Weapons of the Vanguard:
Future Tech Vanguard Sword: The signature blade of the Khalsa Vanguard. Forged from adaptive alloys and powered by plasma conduits, it channels the precision of the ancient sword through modern engineering. The sword hums with focused energy — a symbol of both purity and purpose.

Future Tech Lee Ensign Vanguard Edition Rifle with Canar Scope: It is a high-powered modular tech rifle. This rifle honors the marksmanship legacy of early colonial regiments. Enhanced with targeting optics and various energy rounds, it signifies vigilance, accuracy, and duty to the defense of all.

Beyond these standards, each Vanguard warrior carries personal symbolic weapons. These are customized to their spirit and fighting style. They range from energy chakrams and kinetic staffs to ceremonial daggers and plasma-infused shields. These armaments are more than tools of battle; they are extensions of identity, coded with ancestral motifs and spiritual geometry.
Every weapon bears the same creed: Khalsa Vanguard Era

The Code Bearers
On this volatile Chessboard, only one force exists to preserve peace.
It exists to protect the Code.
It also aims to bring justice to chaos.
The Khalsa Vanguard.
Formed from Earth Colonial directive but standing apart, the Vanguard are peacekeepers, warriors, and spiritual envoys. Donning ceremonial armour woven with South Asian and Eastern martial traditions, they carry the symbolism of identity, courage, and unity.
Their colored divisions—Red (Peacekeeping), Blue (Artillery Combat), and Black (Black Ops)—each fulfill roles on the galactic stage. Some missions defend colonists. Others intervene in alien wars. Some confront rogue Sārkāric or Osura Zari factions. Each Vanguard is trained in ancient rites and future warfare, their every action watched closely by all dominions.
They are not kings. But they are the guardians of conscience in an empire ruled by ambition.

The Board Is Set…
And across this Chessboard, the pieces are always in motion.
Alliances shift. Faiths fracture. Trade routes spark wars. Forgotten gods rise from code. Amid it all, the Khalsa Vanguard advances. They are the keepers of a broken concord. They remain the last hope for a unified future.
