Hidden behind Richfield Grove, beyond overgrown hedges and old stone walls, lies a forgotten garden, older than the neighborhood itself. Beneath its soil, ancient stones pulse with energy. One day, the ground trembles and a glowing opening appears, drawing the girls into a hidden realm below.

At the center stands a sacred Lawsonia inermis tree, its roots wrapped around the ancient stones, pulling their energy into a glowing sap that flows through its bark and leaves. When the girls touch it, the air shifts. Small glowing stones rise around them — red, blue, gold, and green — each one drawn to a girl, as if it recognizes her. A warmth spreads from stone to tree, to sap, to skin, and light begins to bloom across their hands, forming living mehndi patterns.

Through sacred symbols and movement, their abilities begin to awaken — fire, air, sound, and light — each shaped by their personalities, cultures, and inner strength. Guided by gesture, rhythm, and dance, the power flows through them, blending tradition with modern expression. With a thought, it responds — light flickers, air stirs, sound hums, heat gathers. Chosen by the stones, the girls carry this magic beyond the garden, taking with them their gemstone pendants and resin-kissed leaves — living links to the hidden realm. As their powers grow, strange disturbances begin to ripple into their everyday world, blurring the line between realms and testing the balance. Yet their greatest strength is not just the power they hold, but their bond — friendship, rhythm, movement, and the art of mehndi that connects them.

At the heart of Mehndi Henna is the bond between four extraordinary girls — Mehndi, Willow, Lalle, and Henna. Each comes from a different culture and carries her own strength, yet what unites them is more powerful than what sets them apart. After school, they practice routines, exchange style ideas, and sketch symbols in their notebooks — building a friendship rooted in identity, creativity, and growing up in a richly diverse world. Their days are filled with school chaos, shared snacks, and quiet moments in the enchanted garden when the Lawsonia tree calls, while weekends bring festivals, family, and adventures disguised as “just hanging out.” Even before their powers awakened, they were a team. Now, with living mehndi flowing through their hands, their connection runs deeper. They support, challenge, and stand by one another — their bond alive, shaped by friendship, culture, and trust.

Each young lady’s magic in Mehndi Henna begins with intention and connection — not just decoration.

The glowing mehndi designs drawn across their palms are Power Symbols: living motifs that awaken ancestral energy and act as conduits for real magic.

At the heart of every Power Symbol is the enchanted henna sap from the sacred Lawsonia inermis tree.
